Creative Sustainability: Mend thousands of bridges with one call.

No insincere banners. No temporary rainbow logos. The goal of our Pride work with Verizon was to create lasting change in the LGBTQIA+ community. We focused on the uncomfortable truth that many families still fail to accept their LGBTQIA+ loved ones and refuse to answer their calls. We reached out to several families who had pushed their sons and daughters away and helped them try again at acceptance  — inspiring thousands of families across the country to do the same.

“We were so proud of the work we did.. a moment that will inspire others to do the same”

– Diego Scotti, CMO Verizon.

COMMUNITY SUPPORTING COMMUNITY

We worked with PFLAG — the organization dedicated to allyship — to ensure those on both sides of the call were given the support and advice they needed to reconcile.

CREATING A WAVE OF RECONCILIATION

The idea spread instantly upon launch. The social video morphed into a primetime commercial and then morphed again into countless editorials and interviews with the members of our film — including Oprah Magazine. The Verizon social channels were flooded with appreciation and stories of families inspired to reconcile after seeing the film.

Produced in partnership with our friends at McCann and Moxie Pictures.
